The Brimstone Key is now available!

Last night was the launch party for the next book in the Grey Griffins sage, THE BRIIMSTONE KEY. The turnout was incredible. We gave away a Wii, some original art, tons of posters, book, and even some t-shirts. It was fantastic! Thanks to everyone who came out. It's available now nationwide at all booksellers, including your local independent store (like Changing Hands in Tempe, AZ), amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and Borders.

Today I finished up the fifth book in the series, THE RELIC HUNTERS. We still have a bit of line editing to do, but it's 95% there. I can't wait to see what Vincent Chong is going to do for the cover.

I am the co-author of the Grey Griffins series. The first three books were published by Scholastic from 2006-08, and the next three will be published by Little Brown beginning in the spring of 2010 (Little Brown is best known as the publisher of literary rock star Stephenie Meyer's Twilight saga).

I have my first solo series coming out in the fall of 2010 with Thomas Nelson. It's a retelling of the David & Goliath story, but set in a post-apocalyptic world that will be part Mad Max and part Star Wars.

My childhood dream was to illustrate comic books, but unless I retire and spend 12 hours a day drawing, that isn't going to happen. I'm not naturally gifted enough. I'm halfway there, though. I recently signed on to write my first series with a top-tier comic book publisher.

I'll still draw, but just for fun.

I love your series so much! I just finished The Brimstone Key the other day. I have one question to ask, and you don't have to completely tell me, since I don't want to ruin it, but...

Are Natalia and Harley ever going to be together or anything like that? Or do they at least have a crush on each other?

Oh, sorry, that was two questions. (By the way, I love how all the creatures are described. :D)
